Last updated 24 September 2026. The operator's legal identity, registered address and governing-law details are configurable and will be completed before general availability. These terms are a working draft, not legal advice.

The service

BuildLegend is software that helps a business produce estimates and quotations. It calculates quantities, labour and prices from the information the business enters, documented assumptions and dated price data. It does not survey a site, design a structure, verify ground conditions or give legal, structural or tax advice.

Your responsibility

Every estimate and quotation must be reviewed by a competent person before it is relied on or sent. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for the rates and prices you use, for the VAT treatment you select, and for the quotations you issue and the contracts you enter into with your customers.

Accounts, trial and payment

Accounts start with a free trial. After the trial, continued use requires an active subscription at the price shown in the app at the time. You can cancel from your billing settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Data

Your data stays yours. We keep it isolated from other businesses, back it up, and let you export or delete it. See the privacy page.

Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding twelve months, and we are not liable for losses arising from an estimate or quotation you issued.
