Templates are modular: more can be added without rewriting the engine. All templates are currently marked provisional — their quantities and productivity assumptions are documented defaults that we are validating against measured projects and real supplier quotations. Until a template is validated we say so on every estimate it produces.

Single-storey extension

Stages of completion

Every template distinguishes shell only (structure, roof and openings formed), watertight shell (windows and doors in), first fix (services run, boarded, screeded), second fix (plastered, fittings on, doors hung) and complete (decorated and floored). A flat above a garage has its own specification — access, services, fire separation, kitchen and bathroom — and is never a garage price multiplied.
